The U3A in Wadebridge exists to provide a focus for persons over 50 years old who share common interests.
Some 20-30 groups meet at various venues in the locality with the John Betjeman Centre being used as the main meeting place.
Interests range from the physical (e.g. country dancing, keep fit, walking) via the cerebral (e.g. creative writing, scrabble, local history) to the pleasure and leisure activities (e.g. computer courses (Apple Mac & Windows) art, music, patchwork and embroidery). Activities are more or less arranged as requested, provided leaders and venues are available and there is sufficient demand.
You are able to take as many courses as you wish during your year of membership of Wadebridge U3A at a minimal cost which is extremely good value for money.
Further details and membership forms can be obtained upon the notice board within The John Betjeman Centre reception.
Please register your interest in attending the course(s), at the centre.
With membership less than a tenner for a whole year, the cost is exceptional value for money
